What do I need to submit my client's case for paraplanning? You will need to complete a Paraplanning Case Submission Form which will be emailed to you at outset. This form collates the required information for your case in order for us to commence work. Simply upload the submission form with your client documents to your Secure Portal. The submission form incorporates a checklist of the documents required, typically a Factfind, Risk Profiler, any relevant client notes or meeting notes and plan information where applicable.

What software packages are you familiar with?We have our own Paraplanning Online report writing licence, FE Analytics and Selectapension research software licences which can be used where required. However, very familiar with using other research software packages too, for example Defaqto, Centra, O&M Profiler, Dynamic Planner, etc. Also famliar with using Genovo report writing software. Our aim is to fit in with processes you already have in place for continuity for both you and your clients.

How do I upload client documents? You can upload your client's documents to the Secure Portal which can be accessed via our website. The first time you log-in you will need to create your account and then for future cases you simply use your login to upload to your portal.

How do I get started? The process is generally as follows: 1) A Terms of Business document is sent to you electronically for your signature. This covers the basis of our working relationship, data protection, etc. There are no minimum retainers or lock-in periods, to provide full flexibility for you. 2) You will receive an invitation to setup your Secure Portal account. This is where you will upload your clients documents and we will upload the relevant paraplanning documents. 3) You will be sent a Case Submission Form which will need to be completed for each case submitted. The form is self-explanatory and easy to complete. 4) When you submit a case for paraplanning, you will need to upload the completed Case Submission Form to your portal, along with the relevant suppoting documents (there is a checklist on the submisison form as a guide). 5) We then receive a portal notification to alert us you have uploaded a case. We will look through the documents and upload a Case Summary Document which confirms timescales, costs for the case, etc. There is also a timeline on this document so you will be able to login and check the progress that has been made on your case. 6) Once paraplanning has been completed, you will receive a portal notification alerting you that your case is ready to view and download.

What about the style of the Suitability ReportThis is again where we fit in with you. If you have your own firm's style for your Suitability Reports, we will ask for an example in MS Word format and will use this as a template to ensure continuity of design and layout. If you use Genovo or Paraplanning Online report writing software, we are familiar with these, or if you would prefer to use one of our templates, that's fine too.
